Privacy and text terms

What we collect

Black Wolf Tattoo Club, 521 6th Avenue, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701 ("we", "the shop") runs this website. When you send a tattoo request, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number, and your Instagram handle if you add it
• Your tattoo idea, placement, size, the other answers on the form, and any reference photos you upload
• Whether you agreed to get text messages, and when
• Messages, quotes, appointment times and photos added to your request afterwards

The public site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is the login cookie for shop staff using the inbox.

How we use it

Only to handle your tattoo: to review your idea, reply with questions or a quote, book and confirm your appointment, send reminders and updates about your request, and keep a record of the work. We don't send marketing messages, and we don't sell your information.

Who sees it

The artists and staff at the shop. We also use a few service providers to run the site, and they handle your information only to provide that service to us:

• Vercel (website hosting and photo storage)
• Upstash (the database that stores requests)
• Resend (sends our emails)
• Twilio (sends our text messages)

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share information if the law requires it.

Text messages

Black Wolf Tattoo Club booking updates. If you tick "Text me updates about this request" on the request form, we'll text the number you gave us about that request: confirmation that we got it, quotes and offers, your booking link, appointment confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellations, and replies from your artist.

• How often: it varies with your request, usually a few messages per booking.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Stop anytime: reply STOP to any text and you won't get more. You'll get one message confirming that.
• Help: reply HELP, call 907-251-7841, or email nathanealey@me.com.
• Agreeing to texts isn't required to book. Leave the box unticked and we'll use email.
• Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your request for as long as it's useful for your tattoo and our records. To see what we have, correct it, or have your request and photos deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it.

The shop only tattoos adults 18 and over, and this site isn't meant for anyone under 18.
